The Third Eye chakra is the sixth chakra in the body’s energy system. The purpose of the Third Eye chakra is to help you to gain awareness of your higher self and the existence of a greater life force. By gaining awareness of your higher self, you realize that there is something beyond yourself, a higher life force that connects everyone in the Universe.  From this realization, you gain faith, hope, and peace.

The Third eye chakra strengthens intuition and sparks imagination.  It uses your imagination and intuition to help you align with your true path. It enables you to think outside of the box and find solutions to blockages in your life.

A well-balanced third eye chakra helps you dream of possibilities of what could be, while you are still conscious of reality.  An imbalanced third eye chakra creates a fantasy, a non-existent reality, which is an escape from reality.

Find a comfortable and quiet spot to lie down. Try to be aware of the heaviness of the crystal as it sits on top your forehead.  Take a moment to sense the shape of the crystal. Once you have the outline of the crystal’s shape, try to picture the colour of the crystal. Relax and soak in the crystal’s healing energy.

throat chakra

The Throat Chakra: The Voice Within

The throat chakra is the fifth chakra in the body’s energy system, and its purpose is to act as the voice that is able to speak your authentic truth.

The throat chakra balances mental and emotional energy as it moves from the heart chakra to the forehead chakra.  This chakra provides clarity between what is right and wrong for you.  It helps to form the authentic truth in your belief system, and it enables you to be assertive in expressing that truth to others.

A balanced throat chakra increases self-confidence; while a weakened throat chakra may increase shyness.  An over- charged throat chakra might lead to aggression and a rebellious attitude.

TECHNIQUES TO BALANCE THE THROAT CHAKRA

  • GIVE UP BAD HABITS

If you smoke, this habit has a negative effect on throat chakra and your whole energy system, but especially your throat chakra.  What a great way to clear your throat chakra by giving up the bad habit of smoking!  If you gossip or talk poorly about others, now is the time to change that habit.  These ill words will leave a residue of Sha Chi in your throat chakra.  Both of these bad habits create an environment where Sha Chi is transferred to other energy centers within your body.  By giving up these bad habits, you clear the way for fresh Sheng Chi to rejuvenate your throat chakra.

  • TAKE TIME TO LISTEN

Too often in our busy days, we plug into some electrical or electronic device.  When was the last time you simply sat and listened to the silence?  The sensory function of the throat chakra is hearing. The following technique might sound a little obscure, but it actually increases your hearing ability. Find a quiet spot, get “comfy” and prepare to listen to the sound of nothingness.  While listening to the sound of nothingness, you hear the voice within.  Your authentic truths speak to you in the stillness. What a great way to recharge your throat chakra by boosting your hearing abilities!

AFFIRMATIONS

  • I choose to express myself in my own creative way.
  • I say what I mean, and mean what I say.
  • I love and I trust in my own authentic truths.

heart chakra

The Heart Chakra is the fourth chakra in the body’s energy system.  The Heart Chakra acts as an internal conduit through which acceptance can be received and given, enabling the self to find comfort and strength by experiencing the power of love.

The Heart Chakra also acts as an internal conduit to all the other chakras in the body’s energy system, which enables them to be united together. The Heart Chakra seeks a harmonious connection with the internal self and the external universe and others.

The Heart Chakra shifts the self away from the focus of its own survival, emotions and power (the focus of the first three chakras) to focus outside the self in a more collectively compassionate way. The Heart Chakra’s works to bring the unity of all life into the consciousness.  Its mission is to experience love by giving and receiving unconditional love.

An imbalanced Heart Chakra can lead to co-dependency, insecurity, isolation, and loneliness. Imbalances can lead to exhaustion by giving too much of yourself to others.  Imbalances in the Heart Chakra can be fixed by drawing on the source of universal energy and remembering that we are all connected.

SIGNS OF A BALANCED HEART CHAKRA

  • Compassionate
  • Generous
  • Loving
  • Healthy Relationships

SYMPTOMS OF AN IMBALANCED HEART CHAKRA

TECHNIQUES TO BRING BALANCE BACK TO THE HEART CHAKRA

  • MEDITATION

Sit up tall and straight, with your shoulders pulled back to open your chest up to the heavens.  Place your right palm over the middle of your chest, laying your left palm over top your right hand. Pay attention to your breath by breathing in and out slowly and intentionally. Feel your chest rise and fall with each inhalation and exhalation. Close your eyes and envision the colour emerald green swirling around in the palm of your hand and flowing to your heart chakra. Envision your chest warm, radiant and full of loving energy. Focus your intent on filling your heart chakra with this loving energy.

After five minutes end your meditation with inhaling deeply into your belly and remove your hands from your chest.  Let the emerald energy of love rest and be still in your heart chakra and then release your mediation.

  • CRYSTAL THERAPY

Rose quartz, also referred to as the love stone, it is a wonderful crystal to aide in balancing your heart chakra.  Rose quartz attracts love of all kinds; self-love, family love, platonic love and romantic love.  What a great stone to help bring unconditional love -energy to your heart chakra.

Lay on your back in a comfortable position.  Place the rose quartz crystal in the middle of your chest and breathe in deeply through your nose and hold that breathe in for the count of ten. Slowly release your breath through your mouth. Do this ten times while the crystal is still in place. After your tenth breathe you can remove the rose crystal. Remember to get up slowly. The crystal knows how much energy it needs to provide so if it falls off during your crystal therapy session you can conclude your session.

After your Crystal Therapy session, I recommend cleansing the gemstones of any Sha Chi (negative energy) absorbed during the therapy session by  placing the gemstone in a bowl of water with a teaspoon of salt, which will re-energize the gemstone with Sheng Chi (positive energy) and rinse away any remaining Sha Chi (negative energy).

  • I am connected with other human beings.
  • I feel a sense of unity with nature and animals.
  • I accept things as they are.
  • I am peaceful.

The solar plexus chakra is the third chakra in the body’s energy system. This chakra’s purpose is to help people access their inner authority, which helps them gain self-control, self-restraint and self-discipline.

The solar plexus acts as a reservoir for powerful energy.  The solar plexus distributes this energy to the upper chakras.   In order to fix imbalances within the heart, throat, and third eye chakras, you must recharge the solar plexus chakra.

A balanced solar plexus allows you to be assertive and decide what is best for you.  You gain inner authority by being able to discern what is right and wrong for yourself. The solar plexus helps you defend against problems by using mental rationalization and problem-solving skills.  The solar plexus chakra also helps you see things through to their finish.

An underactive solar plexus will cause you to feel guilty when you say no to someone. The guilt and lack of inner authority can lead one to a nervous stomach and feeling malnourished.  An overactive solar plexus will turn everything into a competition.   A clear symptom of an overactive solar plexus is when you force your will onto another person.

Aromatic Oils: lavender, chamomile, lemon, anise

Bach flowers: impatiens, scleranthus, hornbeam

TECHNIQUES TO BALANCE THE SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA

  • WATCH THE SUNSET

The sensory function of the solar plexus is sight.  Take some time to watch the sunrise or sunset.  Not only is it a beautiful sight that symbolizes powerful energy, but it’s also the colour of the solar plexus.  Looking at sun power is a great way to remind yourself of the power within you!

  • DEVELOP YOUR INTUITION

Intuition is the gut feeling of knowing what is right and wrong for your body, mind and spirit. By learning to listen to and enhance that gut feeling, you will strengthen your solar plexus.  Develop your intuition by taking time to quiet your mind and listen to what your holistic self is telling you, and then pay attention to, trust, and act on those gut feelings.  By listening to and acting on your gut feelings, you strengthen your solar plexus.

  • TEA TIME

Dedicate a tea time to your solar plexus.  Ginger, peppermint and chamomile tea are great teas to help you bring balance to your solar plexus.  Drinking any of these teas will help calm your stomach and your nerves, and they are especially beneficial for an underactive solar plexus chakra.

  • YOGA

Use the yoga pose “seated twist” to gain a further balance within the solar plexus.  While sitting on the floor, stretch your legs in front of you.  Keep the right leg on the floor and cross the left leg over it.  Then take your right elbow and put it against the left knee. Reach your left arm back while you twist your torso.  This yoga pose is great because it not only activates your solar plexus chakra, but it also helps massage your internal organs to help your body detoxify impurities.  Be sure to drink a glass of water afterward to help flush the toxins out of your system.

AFFIRMATIONS

  • I trust myself
  • I make solid decisions that are best for me
  • I listen to my inner authority

The sacral chakra is the second chakra in the body’s energy system and it receives universal energy after it is filtered through the base chakra (the body’s first chakra).

The sacral chakra is the seat of emotions and is the storage center for all the experiences associated with love and hate. The feelings of acceptance or rejection from ourselves and others influence the relationships created in our life. The sacral chakra influences how people express their emotions as well as influence the decisions people make.  A balanced sacral chakra helps people express their emotions without being overly emotional, and opens them to passion, intimacy and sexuality.

The sacral chakra turns universal energy into manifesting energy or energy that attracts.  The sacral chakra acts like a magnet to attract the reality, that mirrors the thoughts and feelings stored in this chakra. These thoughts and feelings become manifest in the personal choices people make. By balancing the sacral chakra and changing thoughts and feelings, people can change their lives and their realities.

The function of the sacral chakra is to produce happiness, self-love, healthy relationships, ambition and creativity.  A balanced sacral chakra helps create positive realities with deep feelings, sexual fulfillment and healthy relationships with others and helps people go with the flow and accept change. A healthy balance between positive and negative outcomes is brought to fruition.

When this chakra malfunctions, the need for love goes unmet and unhealthy relationships and addictions are created.  These unhealthy relationships are created with others, food, drugs, or alcohol. Creativity blocks, infertility, and sexual dysfunctions can manifest as well.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Location: lower abdomen below navel

Represents: emotional self, self-expression, sexuality

Development Ages: eight to fourteen years

  • Sexually Fulfilled
  • Joy
  • Warmth
SYMPTOMS OF AN IMBALANCED SACRAL CHAKRA
  • Obsessions

  • Impotence
  • Promiscuity
  • Guilt
  • Depression
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Lower back pain
  • Kidney stones
  • Urinary problems
  • Gynecological issues
  • Prostate problems
  • Poor sense of taste
  • Self hate
  • Manipulative
  • Oversensitive

BALANCING COMPONENTS OF THE SACRAL CHAKRA

Color: orange

Symbol: crescent moon

Element: water

Spice: cinnamon, vanilla, carob, sweet paprika, sesame seeds, caraway seeds

Food: sweet fruits

Gemstones: gold topaz, aventurine, coral, fire opal

Aromatic Oils: sandalwood, myrrh, bitter orange, vanilla

Bach flowers: oak, olive, pine

TECHNIQUES TO BALANCE TO THE SACRAL CHAKRA

  • FOOD THERAPY: Any orange-colored food is perfect to balance this chakra. Sweet fruits such as mangoes, oranges, nectarines etc, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, curry and carrots are a few options for the taste pallet. As a tip, the food that gets the most sunlight while growing is the food that has the most balancing effects for the sacral chakra.
  • EXERCISE: It’s time to break out that old hula hoop! Exercising the muscles in the abdomen is beneficial to the sacral chakra. Whenever the corresponding body parts of the chakra are exercised, the chakra itself will be energized. So go ahead bend over and touch your toes, do some sit ups and twist side to side. Your sacral chakra will love it!
  • MIX IT UP: Do something different in your day! Take a different route home, move your furniture, change your screen saver, buy a new outfit, open the windows. The point is to get out of the everyday routines by mixing things up! By mixing things up, you trigger the body’s energy system to be more alert and take notice. This action signals the body’s energy system to take in more universal energy. More energy intake allows stagnant energy to move out and new energy to come in
  • EFFECTIVE USE OF THE COLOR ORANGE: Orange represents ambition and desire. Orange is also, the color for the sacral chakra. Wearing or visualizing the color orange can start to balance the sacral chakra.
  • WATER: Get in touch with water. Stand by a lake, fish in a pond, or take a walk on the beach. The element of the sacral chakra is water, so being in or around water is a natural way to activate the sacral chakra.

 AFFIRMATIONS:

  • I enjoy my life now.
  • I accept myself just as I am now.
  • I deserve to happiness.
  • I trust that I am loved.

As always, I am available for healings. Feel free to contact me.

enjoy energy healing

As a Reiki Master, I have always been a huge fan of this form of energy healing. Most people are aware of the more well known benefits such as the ones discussed in this article , but for all of you out there who have tried the exercise and healthy eating journey without the changes you wish to see, Reiki sessions could be the answer.

Reiki treatments are about bringing the whole being into harmonious balance and optimal state for the individual being treated emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. I have spoken before in past posts, that each chakra is responsible for a particular set of bodily systems/functions/organs and also carries an emotional signature. This can all be hard to explain in a short post, so bear with me!

When a chakra becomes blocked due to emotional event/upset/stress, the energy in that area becomes slow moving/stagnant which can cause the corresponding organs around it, as well as systems in the body to be affected/unbalanced/work incorrectly. If left untreated, this can lead to illness, behavioural issues/patterns and disease.

Since mainly the nervous and hormonal systems regulate functions throughout the body critical to weight loss, it seems that healing those chakras that regulate these would be important right?

The sacral chakra sits just below the belly button on the lower abdomen and this area governs issues including feelings, social relationships and intimacy. An imbalance/blockage in this chakra might lead to disordered eating and other syptoms such as the ones mentioned in this article. The solar plexus chakra, which sits at the base of the sternum, is related to issues such as those discussed in this article of willpower.

Using Reiki to clear the emotional blockages in the sacral and solar plexus chakras relating to over/undereating, addictions and will power etc, which in turn creates the disruption in your bodily systems that you need to be in check in order to lose weight would be of huge benefit. In other words – TREAT THE EMOTIONAL, HEAL THE PHYSICAL for long term health and weight loss!

Some people lose weight after incorporating Reiki into their lifestyle in addition to their existing diet and exercise regime, for a few reasons. One is the effect it has on the nervous system in the reduction of stress hormones in the bloodstream that incline the body to hold weight. Other possible reasons include improved overall digestive functions, gradual detoxification (both digestive system) more refreshing sleep, enhanced hormonal balance (endocrine system), becoming more in tune with one’s body, gravitating to what it truly needs, less emotional eating, becoming aware of your body’s nutritional needs, feeling better overall and feeling better about oneself. The better we feel, the more likely we will make the choices and the effort that improve well-being.  Reiki really can be the change that makes it easier for us to make other needed changes for life long health and wellness.

On a personal level, since Reiki entered my life, I find that a lot of the emotional eating and anxiety I used to experience years ago as a teenager have gone. I don’t need to train as often and as hard as I used to to maintain a happy, healthy body because my systems and energy balance are more in check and I generally feel amazing when my chakras are in balance.

If you would like to know more about Reiki or have any questions on how it can relate to you and any health issues you may have, feel free to contact me for a chat or even a session.

Yours in health

Healing crystals and gemstones are one of the most beautiful, mystical and profound “energy medicine” tools, which have been used for centuries throughout all cultures, religions and empires. They bring amazing benefits to the healing arena and I use them in my Reiki healings with clients for that extra boost!

It is widely believed that gems and crystals act as amplifiers when brought into contact with the human body’s seven-chakra points. The energy field/aura that surrounds, penetrates, and binds the body-mind-spirit is in a constant state of activity. It is continuously taking in and sending out vibrating energy waves through openings in the aura know as chakras.

Rotating at different speeds, these chakra points release energies, giving the body its precious life forces! While your chakras can become clogged from stress/emotional upsets, anxiety etc, using gems or crystals which correspond to different chakras or to certain illnesses/conditions,  is thought to help balance these energy points, promoting health, happiness and well being.

There are many different ways in which Crystals can be used. This really comes down to personal preference. I have a collection of  small tumbles stones that I can put in my pocket, a few necklaces, rings, some larger generators and terminators which are kept on my bedside, as well as the set of clear quartz (known as the master healer) you can see in the pic above in my room.

Some of the more common ways that crystals are used are:

  • Worn on the body (Pendants, Bracelets and Rings) or Close to the body (Key rings or placed in pocket)
  • Kept under a pillow
  • In Meditation Practice
  • Placed around the Home or Workplace for space clearing and room cleansing
  • Counteracting Environmental Pollution
  • Used in Aura Cleansing
  • The Laying on of Stones on the body for Chakra Clearing

If you want to know more about the healing properties of certain crystals to help you in your health and wellbeing journey, take a look at this website for more information. Oh this site is a good one too so check it out!

PURPOSE:

The base chakra is the satellite dish that points downward into the earth and keeps your body here on earth in the physical world.

This chakra is your main power station and it is connected to your physical vitality and endurance, mental perseverance and it is the center that gives you your life’s passion. It contains the soul lessons about your being “here”, and having good relations with both your family and the human race.

Defines the concept of “being” and “accepting being”.

Serves as the foundation to evolve and build personality.

Embraces aspects such as energy, self expression, ambition, consistency, desire for security, and the survival of self and species.

This chakra is all about being “grounded”

COLOUR:

Red

LOCATION:

Base of spine between genitals and anus

ASSOCIATED BODY PARTS:

If you sometimes feel disconnected to the world and like you “don’t want to be here” kinds of feelings, there is negative energy (normally acquired from life’s events) sitting on your base chakra.

This negative energy/debris stops a clear signal from being sent into the earth and reduces the connection you have with the earth’s spirit.

As a result of the above, a person may develop problems in their physical body due to the life force that this chakra brings not being able to come through as strongly.

The organs/body parts that the base chakra is responsible for are:

Kidneys, bladder, bowel, expulsion tubes, the vertebral column, coccyx, bones, arms, hands, intestines, prostate, urethra in women/scrotum in men, teeth, nails, feet, hips and legs

ENDOCRINE GLAND: Adrenal gland.

ASSOCIATED PROBLEMS:

Constipation, diarrhea, piles, colitis, Crohn’s disease, cold fingers and toes, frequency of urination, hypertension (high blood pressure), kidney stones, impotence, hip, legs and feet problems, anemia, fatigue, lower back pain, sciatica, depression, frequent colds. If you have problems in these areas, it is because your base chakra is not clear and energetically vibrant.

There may be thoughts or feelings an individual is sending the the body’s consciousness. The individual may have had experiences growing up which has polluted the base chakra with negative energy, causing it to not function correctly. It may have been in this state for a very long time.

Issues that an individual may experience in relation to the chakra being blocked include:

  • Working in a job they dislike
  • Have disharmonious relationships with family members
  • Living in constant fear about material security

As a result of this negative energy that they are breeding everyday in their actions, the chakra is polluted and stifles the body in this area. This will in turn create problems with the body parts mentioned above.

IN HARMONY:

Profound connection to nature, trust in natures laws, a deep understanding of its even ebb and flow

OUT OF HARMONY:

Inability to trust nature, focus on material possesions, need to satisify own desires and wishes

PERSONALITY TRAITS: Courageous, confident, humanistic, strong-willed, spontaneous, honest, and extroverted.

Red relates to self awareness. It is the area of survival and stability and your place on this earth.  The colour red provides the power from the earth and gives energy on all levels. It connects us to our physical body. Everything that is to be commenced needs the life vitality of red.

Positive aspects of red:

– security
– courage
– strength of will
– pioneering

Negative aspects of red:

– insecurity
– self pitying
– aggressive
– fearful

ELEMENT:

Earth

  • Do you accomplish most of your goals?

What are chakras?

In the spiritual world, the chakras are mentioned quite a bit. That’s ok if you know what they are, what they do and how they affect your health. But if you don’t and you aren’t that way inclined, it can be pretty confusing so here is a brief explanation of what they are all about.

The human energy field or aura is an energetic field that surrounds, penetrates and is the human body. It has rivers of energy called meridians which nourish every cell and organ in our body. These rivers are supplied by seven main cone shaped, spinning vortexes of energy call chakras that are key to the operation of our being. These “spinning wheels” draw-in coded information from our surroundings.

Coded information can be anything from a color vibration to ultra-violet ray to a radio or micro wave to another person’s aura. In other words, chakras receive the health of our environment, including the people we are in contact with (that’s why other people’s moods have an affect on us and we can feel if a person has high energy or low energy and drains us!). As well our chakras also radiate an energy of vibration.

The seven main chakra centers are aligned along the spinal column. If there are disturbances on any level, this shows in the chakra’s vitality level. Each of the seven main chakras is their own intelligence center, which means that each chakra is not only associated with our physical health but also controls aspects connected to our emotional, mental and belief system.

Each of the seven chakras carries a colour of the rainbow. The root chakra, located at the base of the spine, carries the colour red. The sacral, our creative center, carries orange. The solar plexus, our self centeredness, carries the colour yellow. The heart chakra which is our feeling center, carries green. The throat chakra, responsible for expression, carries blue. The third eye chakra in charge of intuiotion and spiritual issues resonates with indio, and the crown chakra carries the highest vibrational rate – violet or white.

What is the function of the chakras?

  • Physical: Each chakra is associated with a particular gland and part of the body. When the chakras are balanced and energy is freely flowing, physical well being is achieved.
  • Mental: When the physical body is in a state of well being, the mind is at ease.  When chakras are balanced and energy is flowing freely, a state of mental clarity is attained.
  • Emotional: When the chakras are balanced and energy flowing freely, your mind and body are at ease and allows emotions to be felt and expressed in a more calm and balanced manner. You are more in tune with your emotional needs and well being.
  • Spiritual: When the chakras are balanced and energy is flowing freely, our energetic vibrational rate rises, allowing us to experience more of our true divine nature and connection with the sea of Universal Life energy that permeates all things.

What causes blocked chakras?

As chakras act like mini computer chips and carry a memory of all the emotional events that you have experienced over your lifetime, it’s no wonder that they can become overloaded! Chakras can become blocked due to suppressed negative emotions and upsets in life such as loss, conflict or an accident etc. The main causes of chakra malfunction are stress, fear and anxiety. When blocks accumulate, a disruption in energy flow to the chakra results which creates stagnant energy. The corresponding organ or system in the body will eventually be affected and emotional, mental and physical diseases/conditions will manifest.

How do you rebalance your chakras?

Reiki is one of the most amazing modalities I have come across to do this! It is a non invasive and relaxing way to unblock and balance the malfunctioning chakras in your body to bring about physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being in your life. You can also use crystals, colours, essential oils, activities, mediation etc in addition to assist your healing.

I have written a couple of past posts on Reiki which you can go back and look at if you wish to know more. I hope this helps you understand chakras a little more. Stay tuned for following posts on each chakra and how they affect your health!

There seems to be a huge shift in the last few years in terms of the way people are going about looking after their health. The amazing power of food and good nutrition, meditation, exercise and different forms of alternative healing cannot be denied. People are starting to realise that they can no longer rely solely on the symptomatic treatment and “band aid” effect of toxic drugs to help them heal. After years of resorting to endless pill popping with little ease in their symptoms, many are finally opening their eyes to modalities which they may have once thought of as a bit too “out there” for them. Enter Reiki healing.

You may have heard people refer to Reiki before in the past and wondered what on earth it was, or you may be quite familiar with it yourself. Either way, it’s fantastic that it’s healing head is popping up all over the place and it is finally getting the credibility it deserves! As a Reiki master myself, I have always been very open minded, into metaphysics and the mind body connection, so when I first learnt about Reiki, it just all made sense to me. It wasn’t until after I had my first session, I was hooked and really understood its entirety and wanted to be able to help heal people myself with this amazing tool. For those of you who are skeptical or sitting on the fence with what they have read or heard, remember – people will always critisize what they don’t understand. Knowledge and experience is power and I think Reiki is something you need to feel and experience before making your decision.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that balances out the energy in your body physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally. You may remember one of my previous posts on The need for Reiki where I mentioned the physical effects that emotions have on your body and health. Physical pain can be caused by holding onto emotions/emotional events because we store these in our body. This means that often when people come for a session, they are quite shocked when they can have physical relief by releasing emotions (my father found this with his arthritis relief after one session) Reiki energy does not discriminate and whatever your body needs to heal at that point in time, is where it will be directed.

A Reiki session will last normally between 60-90 minutes. During this time, the client will lay fully clothed on a treatment table and the Reiki practitioner will place their hands on or just above certain places on the body correlating to different chakras or energy centers. The Reiki practitioner is able to scan the body and find areas/chakras that need unblocking, activating, healing, calming etc. The treatment is very relaxing and most of my clients either drift in and out of sleep or go into a very deep relaxed state.

Reiki experiences vary from person to person however, most clients normally relay sensations such as heat coming from my hands, tingling, coolness, twitching, stomach gurgling, and as if their body is naturally moving to realign/readjust itself. Others may notice that the pain you have experienced for quite some time has now gone or decreased dramatically. Occasionally after a session you may feel a little tired or emotional for a few days, however, this will pass and you will feel better. These are all natural reactions and is just energy being released – so it’s a good thing! Being body aware on how you physically and emotionally feel before and after your session can also help you realise the impact of Reiki healing.

I can honestly say that becoming a Reiki Master has been life changing for me. On a personal level, it has opened up my intuition, increased my connection to myself and the world, brought me a sense of deep calm and centeredness and I have an increased sense of well being more than ever before. It truly is an amazing gift that I can give to others to help them on their own spiritual and healing journey and feel very blessed for it.
